TCPL’s new director will replace Teresa Vadakin, who is serving as interim director. The national search has garnered applications from dozens of library leaders across the United States who were subsequently vetted by Civil Service and the Library’s search committee of trustees, staff, and representatives from the Tompkins County government, the Tompkins County Public Library Foundation, the Friends of the Tompkins County Public Library, the Finger Lakes Library System, and community members at large.
