Tompkins County Public Library Foundation

The Tompkins County Public Library Foundation sustains and strengthens our library by inspiring community support. The Foundation serves as a bridge between the library and the community, encouraging engagement through philanthropy and participation.

There are many ways you can support TCPL and become a Library Champion!

  • Take part in our READATHON, our all-day read-out-loud fundraising event
  • Join Team TCPL, by organizing your very own Library fundraiser with the help of Foundation staff
  • Become a member of the Library Literati and enjoy events like the Library Speakeasy and Literary Virtual Trivia Night
  • Adopt a Periodical and cover the costs of 1-3 year subscription for a publication library patrons want and need
  • Set up a recurring gift, monthly or quarterly
  • Make a tribute gift in honor or memory of a loved one or special occasion
