Design Our Next Library Card Contest!

Design Our Next Library Card Contest!

Tompkins County Public Library is giving you the chance to design our next library cards as we celebrate a milestone!

Starting June 13 and running through the end of the “Color Our World” Summer Reading programming on August 23, creation stations will be placed throughout the Library where you can let your imagination run wild.

You can also download the template and create the perfect card using physical or digital tools. The only limitation is that we are not allowing A.I. entries. We want to see what you can create!

You can submit designs in person at TCPL or by emailing them to summer@tcpl.org through August 23. Please include your name, age, and how we can contact you.

Two winning designs will be chosen, one for Youth and another for Adults. Patrons will have a chance to vote on finalists starting in September. The winning designs will be unveiled at a celebration this November to mark 25 years since the Library moved to its current home on East Green Street.

We can’t wait to see what your imagination can create!
