About this event:

TCPL is inviting families and youth ages 8 - 19 to weekly autonomous robot time attack racing!

Every Tuesday TCPL will have new track where participants will be challenged to set the best lap time. The are three categories of robot cars to choose from:

  • Analog: use physics, circuits, and tune up parts to design the fastest robot.
  • Scratch: connect code and adjust sensors to make it around the track the fastest.
  • C++: write a script and tune sensors to keep this robot from crashing through the track's walls

Race in one category or all to see how fast you can program a robot to go! No prior experience with coding or robotics required. Tutorials and step-by-step instructions will be provided. There is no registration needed to join, robots will be given out to participants to barrow on a first-come first -served basis. If you have built any of the three robot cars you are also welcome to bring it in and race.
