Program Description

About this event:

Join Circus Culture this July for one, some, or all of our live virtual workshops! Workshops will run from 12:30-1pm on Tuesdays July 6, 13, 20, and 27. Open to ages 6-12, we'll use common household objects to play games, practice basic acrobatics, juggling, balancing, and more!

Patrons must register for each weekly workshop that they plan to attend! Zoom information will be included in the registration and reminder emails.

Below are suggested props for each week:

July 6: scarves for juggling - tissue paper works really well, or plastic bags cut up into about 6"x6" squares

July 13: 2-3 pairs of socks that can be rolled up to make juggling balls

July 20: a piece of newspaper, scissors and tape to make a peacock feather to balance

July 27: 1 sock ball and a stiff ring, about 1 foot in diameter with the ring being about 2" -a paper plate with the middle cut out works really well

The 2021 Summer Adventure Program is made possible by a grant from the Bernard Carl and Shirley Rosen Library fund of the Community Foundation of Tompkins County.
