"As a writer and former research editor and a frequent visitor to TCPL, I know how important a library can be to individuals and the vibrancy of a town. Libraries are so much: gathering places, peaceful spaces, play rooms for kids, sources of information and entertainment and other resources, and repositories of knowledge and art. We've been lucky to have such a great library in Ithaca, and it's an honor to have the opportunity to help steward it on behalf of our community."
