Strategic Plan Survey: Help Guide Your Library's Future

In New York State, all public libraries are required to have a community-based, Board-approved, written long-range plan of service developed by the Board of Trustees and staff. For Tompkins County Public Library, the current long-range plan expires at the end of 2025.

The Board of Trustees Community Relations and Outreach Committee has created a draft of a new Strategic Plan that identifies priorities for TCPL through the year 2030. You can read that draft for yourself here: TCPL Strategic Plan 2026-2030 Draft

Below is your chance to weigh in on that proposal. Input sessions are planned for the coming months before the approval of a final plan in early 2026. Thank you for helping guide the future of your Library!
