Harry Durgin is a former Ithacan now living in Pahoa, Hawaii. From May to September 2018, he documented the dramatic volcanic eruption along the Eastern Rift Zone on the Big Island, only a few miles from his home. His extraordinary images capture these months of wonder, excitement, mystery, and land change.
