Children of all ages and their caregivers are invited to celebrate reading and build their early literacy skills at Family Storytime. We meet each Saturday for stories, songs and hands-on fun.

Join us for an afternoon movie on our “Big Screen” in the Thaler/Howell Programming Room. This Saturday we will be screening the animated fantasy adventure Abominable. 

Join the Ithaca Ukes and the Hula Hut Dancers for a holiday tradition of Christmas Music and Hanukkah Music.
The performance will be held Saturday, December 6 starting at 2:30 p.m. in the Ezra Cornell Reading Room.

Baby & Toddler Playtime is an unstructured play and social time for children and caregivers offering a warm, child-friendly space with books and age-appropriate toys.

Learn the basics of using a modern sewing machine!

Join Therese for a one hour instructional introduction to sewing. You will learn the parts, threading, and basic use of the machine.

Children are invited to practice their reading skills by sharing a story with a truly non-judgmental listener -- a dog! Reading sessions will be held Mondays from 3-4 p.m. Children who attend 6 sessions will earn a FREE book of their choice!

Toddlers and preschoolers will have the opportunity to have open exploration and discovery with a variety of arts & crafts materials!

This drop-in program is offered on the second Tuesday of each month.

Monthly meeting of the Tompkins County Public Library Board of Trustees Finance & Personnel Committee

Join us for monthly meetings of the TCPL Tween Book Club – the second Tuesday of every month. We will read and discuss great books together, play games, eat snacks, and laugh a lot. Best for ages 8-12. We hope to see you there!
