About this event:

Interested in learning how to create and prepare designs for laser cutting and engraving?  Join Josh in our makerspace and digital lab and learn how to get started!  Participants will get hands-on experience using the basic tools of the vector graphics program, Inkscape, to create and edit designs that can be used on our Epilog laser cutter and engraver.  We will be meeting in the makerspace for a brief demonstration and then move to the digital lab.  Please note, we will not be working on personal projects during this program and participants are expected to have basic computer skills.  Please see the requirements below for more details.

Registration is required for this free program.  All materials will be provided.  Ages 16+ only.

Participants are expected to be experienced with the following:
-Using the basic tools of the Windows operating system.
-Using a keyboard and mouse.
-Accessing, saving, and importing files.
