Program Description

About this event:

Join Alana Sullivan of the Women’s Opportunity Center for a showing of episode 1 of the three-part PBS docuseries Future of Work (2021), which “explores monumental changes in the workplace and the long-term impact on workers, employers, educators and communities” (PBS) and covers a wide range of subjects such as the gig economy, debt, AI, wealth disparity, and remote work. If you’ve ever been terrified—or thrilled—when you imagine what work will look like in the future, and what changes are already underway, this event is for you! Facilitated discussion will follow.

Alana Sullivan (she/her) is a career development specialist at the Women’s Opportunity Center of Tompkins & Onondaga Counties, where she works one on one with clients of all genders to explore their options and goals (career-related and otherwise) and collaborate on plans to achieve them. She also develops trainings and programming for the WOC.

**please note that mask wearing and social distancing guidelines will be followed for this event.
