Event Description

National Novel Writing Month (aka NaNoWriMo) is an annual, Internet-based creative writing project that takes place during the month of November. Participants attempt to write a 50,000-word manuscript between November 1 and November 30. NaNoWriMo is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that believes your story matters. NaNoWriMo believes in the transformational power of creativity. We provide the structure, community, and encouragement to help people find their voices, achieve creative goals, and build new worlds—on and off the page. This event will be our "Half-way There!" celebration. This is be more of a social event with writing time, word sprints and mentoring opportunities built in.
