Program Description

About this event:

Anne Kingsbury Wollstonecraft’s astonishing and beautiful three-volume botanical manuscript of the plants of Cuba has been held in the Cornell University Library for almost a century. It took the tenacity of one historian to help rediscover the significance of this early work and bring it to the world’s attention. Learn more about the intersection of research and libraries and how this book came back into the light.
