About this event:

People of all ages are invited to gather to celebrate and discuss poetry in a friendly group setting online in honor of National Poetry Month. National Poetry Month is a special occasion to celebrate the importance of poets and poetry in our culture. Please bring along your favorite book of poetry (if you have one handy), and we will talk about why we enjoy these books and what new ones we have recently discovered or hope to check out in the year ahead.

This book discussion will be offered via Zoom. Register through the online calendar at tcpl.org and registered participants will receive an email with details on how to access the workshop.

Clare Jones completed her M.F.A. in Poetry at the Iowa Writers' Workshop. She enjoys reading poetry in translation from around the world.
