About this event:
January is Trafficking Awareness Month.
Join the Advocacy Center of Tompkins County to get educated on the topic of sex trafficking and connect with local resources and organizations that assist survivors.
- Hear updates from the Director of Tompkins County Youth Services, Kate Booth, on local data, risks, and services.
- Tabling from local resources.
- The Clothesline Project Display.
- Light refreshments will be served.
Then on January 9, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Drop-in to view the Clothesline Project Display, make shirts to add to the connection, and connect with resources and gain education.
This event is presented by the Advocacy Center of Tompkins County in accordance with Tompkins County Public Library's Meeting Spaces Policy.
