About this event:

Transport yourself to Cairo and join acclaimed, experimental Egyptian storyteller and performer Chirine El Ansary for Fragments of Eternity, an eclectic selection of original stories and performances spanning her twenty-five-year career. Recognized for her rewritings of One Thousand and One Nights and other classics, El Ansary has performed in city streets, prisons, refugee camps, and remote mountain villages as well as at international storytelling festivals across the globe.

 

This program for all ages is held in conjunction with the exhibition Taking Shape: Abstraction from the Arab World 1950s–1980s and cosponsored by the Johnson Museum of Art.
