Science and NatureProgram Description
About this event:
Distant planets, stars, galaxies . . . how do we know what these things are made of without ever having gone there? How have we mapped the surfaces of Venus and Saturn’s moon Titan with satellites when their weather is always cloudy? Join us for some fun hands-on activities about how scientists use rainbows and “invisible” light to understand the universe. Presented by Zoe Ponterio from Cornell's Spacecraft Planetary Image Facility.
