Meet the Artist: Therese O'Connor

Join exhibiting artist Therese O'Connor in the Avenue of the Friends for a meet-and-greet! Ask questions and learn about O'Connor's artistic process and work.

O’Connor is a local artist who began sewing at a young age, and later discovered improvisational quilting in 2002. She enjoys the tactile nature of working with fabric, and the creative possibilities available through color and pattern. Works included in this exhibit have come about through experimentation with shape, color, and the use of challenging fabrics like silk and velvet.

The exhibit of art quilts will be on display through June.
