Laser Cut Writing: Water Writing with Zee

Allowed Ages: 16 and up

About this event:

Write poetry or prose, on the theme of water. Then have your short poem, or a prose excerpt, engraved onto transparent acrylic plastic that can be hung up in a window.

Zee Zahava will lead the writing portion, and librarian Cady will help you engrave your words with the Makerspace laser.

Here are just a few examples of watery themes you might choose to write about:

rain, baths, drinking fountains, wishing wells, floods, waterfalls,  mermaids, watery imagery in dreams, singing in the rain, swimming, creeks/lakes/rivers/oceans. Etc. The possibilities are vast.
