Program Description

About this event:

Meet five local middle graders as they share different kinds of writing inspired by the same prompt: If you could erase one word, and that thing would cease to exist in the world—in fact no one would have any memory of it ever existing—what word would you erase? This event will include fun, interactive opportunities for audience members, young and not-so-young, to throw their own words into the mix. Featuring the work of Dhilan, Grace, Nadia, Rita, and Sophia, and moderated by YA/MG fiction author Bree Barton.

The Community Arts Partnership presents the 14th annual Spring Writes Literary Festival, from May 5 to May 15 this year!  This Spring Writes event is in collaboration with the Tompkins County Public Library. See the line-up of events and artist bios at www.springwrites.org. Please share this event with your book-loving friends!

We'd love to see you at this live event in person!  (It will not be live streamed or taped.) Feel free to register so we can get a head count of how many to expect, but registration is not required to attend!
