"It's Easy 'Son', Quit Making Things Difficult"; Book reading and signing by Gerald Hector

The title of the event is “It’s Easy Son! Quit Making Things Difficult” a reading and discussion of the Star Apple Tree and Common Sense Tree in our contemporary society with author Gerald L. Hector, Executive Vice President and Chief Business Officer for Morehouse College, in Atlanta, GA. Mr. Hector was also the former CFO for Ithaca College, and a former Vice President of Financial Affairs and University Treasurer for Cornell University. Mr. Hector will be reading from his book that chronicles his journey from Jamaica to the United States and the life lessons learned from his beloved college coach, the late William P. Moultrie. Those lessons have assisted Mr. Hector to navigate his time since arriving in the USA to currently holding his current post at one of the most storied institutions for African American males in the world.
