This interactive program shares a specific set of strategies families can use to find balance, meaning and organization.

In our time together, parents and caregivers will learn how to:

  • Stay calm in crisis
  • Strategize for activities
  • Develop whole family coping skills
  • Make consistent progress

Lydia Dolch is an Empowerment Coach, founder of Open the Lid. She holds New York State professional certifications in Students with Disabilities Birth-Grade 2 and Grades 1-6 as well as Art Education PreK-12th grade. She has 15 years in the field of exceptional education specializing in autism and verbal challenges, 12 years of parenting children with sensory and language challenges and 2 years living the sensory life.

Along with free webinars, private coaching and consulting, Lydia works as an itinerant special education provider in Tompkins County, New York with certifications in teaching students with disabilities and art education. In addition, Lydia has considerable training in Applied Behavioral Analysis. She has developed and taught a course on autism at the university graduate level and is regularly invited as a dynamic speaker on a wide range of topics.
