Program Description

About this event:

Come join us in an interactive workshop where we explore our connection to the natural world. We will delve into our interrelationship with water and with plants that can support us, physically and emotionally. We will discuss specific herbs and how they help us. We will make and drink a tea, blended of these herbs that aid our wellbeing and you will be able take some of the blend home to work with on your own.

Our presenter, Táhila Moss, is the Founder / Executive Director of OJI:SDA’ Sustainable Indigenous Futures. This organization works to help preserve the traditional wisdom of Indigenous people and to help have their voices heard. She uses her skills as a professional photographer and documentarian to highlight Indigenous people and their issues and to help us to see the natural world through new eyes.
