Program Description

About this event:

Join us for an exciting, hands-on STEM experience! In this interactive program brought by Cornell's Society of Women Engineers, students will explore the science behind everyday phenomena through fun activities — designing parachutes to learn about gravity, building popsicle stick catapults to study motion, kinetic, and energy, and competing to see who can build the highest tower out of the same number of marshmallows and toothpicks.

This program encourages curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving while introducing key concepts in science, technology, engineering, and math. Students will also learn what an engineer is, and how they plan and build structures.

Come discover how fun learning can be! Registration is encouraged but not required.
