Program Description

About this event:

Join graphic designer Amy Callahan to learn the basics of Adobe InDesign, a desktop publishing program that can be used to create single or multi-page documents including flyers, posters, brochures and magazines. In this intro class, you will  learn how to create a new document, use rulers, guides and grids to organize your workspace, and import images and text into your design. For this course, the instructor will provide text and images.

Participants are expected to be experienced with the following:

-Using the basic tools of the Mac operating system X.
-Using a keyboard and mouse.
-Accessing, saving, and importing files.
