Streets Like This Remount

The Civic Ensemble and the Ultimate Reentry Opportunity Initiative will be bringing community stakeholders together to discuss increasing the visibility of the Reentry Theater's work. The Reentry Theater group works to share the stories of people impacted by the criminal justice system in hopes of educating the community to move towards a more healthful system for people who are incarcerated and for those on the arduous journey of reacclimating to life after incarceration. In order to develop political will for change, there must first be public will and this means the entire county must see the need for reform. We believe that public will can be achieved if we begin to change the perceptions, hearts and minds of people not just in Ithaca, but the entire Tompkins County.
