Our monthly Shop Talks provide the opportunity to meet up with other children's writers and illustrators in our area.
September topic: Critique groups and manuscript critique
It’s a new year – what are you working on? This meeting is your chance to share a work-in-progress and get helpful feedback. Please bring 5 copies of a manuscript (3-4 pages, double-spaced) to share, or a couple illustrations-in-progress.

SCBWI (www.scbwi.org) is the only professional organization specifically for those individuals writing and illustrating for children and young adults in the fields of children’s literature, magazines, film, television, and multimedia.
