Ithaca Extended Reality Meetup: First meeting

This will be the first meeting of the Ithaca Extended Reality Meetup, an organization whose goal is to connect, educate, and inspire members of the broader Ithaca community interested in Virtual, Mixed, and Augmented Reality (under the umbrella term of Extended Reality—XR).

We will discuss the current state of spatial computing (both in software and hardware) and the most immediate opportunities. In the future, members will be invited to share ideas, projects, questions, etc. with the broader group. We will also invite guests (in person or live streamed) to further enrich the community.

This group is open to XR all enthusiasts: makers, artists, thinkers, developers, etc. We will follow a code of conduct similar to the Contributor Covenant (https://www.contributor-covenant.org/version/1/4/code-of-conduct); it will be discussed and established during the first few meetings of the meetup.
