A Universe of Stories: TCPL Adult Summer Reading Program 2019

 

June 29 through August 10

TCPL’s Adult Summer Reading Challenge offers adult patrons the opportunity to win prizes and explore their world. Programs will include a crafting workshop, a lecture on astronomy, a C. S. Lewis book club, a Speculative Fiction Writing Workshop, and more. Participants can read books, watch movies, listen to music, and share reviews. All participants will be entered into prize drawings at the end of the program.

 

How to participate? Each activity earns you a ticket in the prize drawing.
  1. Submit at least 1 book review - Book reviews may be submitted on paper (we’ll have a box at the reference desk) or by filling out this Google form.
  2. Complete a Tic Tac Toe game board.
  3. Attend one of the below programs.

Shadow Boxes with Maude Rith and ReUse
Makerspace
Thursday, July 11th, 2019

Join curator and artist Maude Rith for a fun creative adventure into shadow boxes! Using materials donated by the ReUse Center, build your own 3-dimensional box. Be inspired by the art exhibit "Infinity in a Box," on display in the Avenue of the Friends at TCPL.

  • Early Bird Raffle - July 15:  Submit book reviews by July 13 for two chances to win a pair of VIP ticket vouchers for the 2019 Mainstage season donated by the Hangar Theatre.
  • General Raffle - August 12:  Each activity earns you a ticket for our prizes.  the more you do, the more chances you have to win!  One prize per person.  Prizes include:
