Program Description
About this event:
If you have taken some French in the past and would like to find a place to practice your foreign language skills, please join us. Every week we will speak in French on topics ranging from US and French Politics or World news, to culture, literature, art forms or even new technologies depending on the interests of the group. All levels are welcome, but you will be more comfortable in this group with an intermediate level of French or higher.
Jane P. Kaplan is a professor of French. She received her B.A. from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, and her doctorate from Louisiana State University. A Fulbright grant initiated her to France, where she has spent many years and summers since.
Occurs bi-weekly. Alternates with French Tutoring. Registration is encouraged but not required.
