Program Description

About this event:

Children ages 5+ and their families are invited to learn "How Rainbows Tell Us What Things Are Made Of", a program presented by Cornell Spacecraft Planetary Imaging Facility (SPIF). Distant planets, stars, galaxies . . . how do we know so much about what they’re made of without ever having gone there? The answer lies in rainbows! Participants will look at some interesting rainbows and figure out the “mystery matter” in our air samples.
