Event Description

The Tompkins County Legislature has created the $6.5m Tompkins Community Recovery Fund to provide one-time grant funding to eligible organizations to assist with recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic and enhance community resiliency moving forward. Eligible organizations include nonprofits, impacted small businesses, small educational institutions, healthcare providers, and government entities. These organizations will be able to apply for grants of $10,000 or more to support projects and services related, but not limited, to: childcare, small business and nonprofit relief, education, healthcare, social justice, broadband internet, critical infrastructure, and/or housing. Tracy Verrier, project manager at MRB Group, will provide an overview of the program including program priorities, eligibility criteria, application guidelines, and project timelines. There will be ample time for attendee questions.
