Managing and leading people is a complex process. How do you make sure team members achieve their fullest performance potential? How do you empower them with skills and tools to do the job instead of telling them how to do it?
Coaching is one of the key components of managing modern teams. It is a model in which managers ask questions and give support and guidance rather than instruction. Employees learn how to adapt and respond in ways that unleash fresh energy, innovation, and learning.
This interactive workshop will teach managers effective coaching techniques and when to use them to maximize employee learning and growth.
• Understand the difference between directing, mentoring, advising and coaching, and when to use each
• Learn a coaching framework that can be used in one-on-one coaching conversations
• Practice coaching skills using real work situations
• Enhance their coaching, management, and leadership know-how
