TCPL’s 2018 Reading Challenge Update!

Kick off your fall reading by joining us for the 2018 Community Read of We Have Always Lived in the Castle by Shirley Jackson. Read the book, write a review and we'll feature it on our Community Read display center. All participants will be entered in a random drawing at the end of October. Write your own! Does Shirley Jackson's style inspire you? Let your creativity flow on the page. Write and submit an original short piece of fiction, creative nonfiction or poetry, no more than 250 words or one page of poetry. All work will be attractively displayed along with book reviews. TCPL is hosting many other exciting Community Read programs throughout the month.

Find more information about TCPL's 2018 Community Read at www.tcpl.org/books-movies-more/books-movies-more/community-read.

You can review other books here as well - the yearlong 2018 TCPL Reading Challenge continues through December 15th. It's been a year of changes, but participants' reviews will be tallied from our old Evanced program, TCPL's Goodreads bookshelf, and the TCPL 2018 Summer Challenge here on READsquared. A grand prize will be awarded to the person who has read and reviewed the greatest number of books.

Any questions, contact Joyce at jwheatley@tcpl.org.

The 2018 Fall Reading Challenge is part of TCPL’s year-long Reading Challenge. How many books do you want to read in 2018? Set your goal, track your books, and share with others who are taking the challenge. You'll be eligible for periodic raffles and a grand prize drawing!

More online book reviews, recommendations and discussions from previous 2018 mini-challenges can be found on our Goodreads Group, TCPL 2018 Reading Challenge Group.

The year-long Reading Challenge runs January 1 through December 15, 2018. Let us know what you're reading!

Contact Joyce for more information at jwheatley@tcpl.org.

Thank you to all our prize donors, who have supported the 2018 Adult Reading Challenge.
