Video and Talk with Eric Acree

Eric Acree, Director, John Henrik Clarke Africana Library, Cornell, will show a video interview by Bill Moyers of Chinua Achebe. Mr. Acree will also lead a discussion about the video and about Chinua Achebe’s work.

Eric Kofi Acree is currently the Director of the John Henrik Clarke Eric Kofi AcreeAfricana Library at Cornell University. He has been with Cornell since 2002. Previously he worked at the University at Buffalo (UB) Undergraduate Library (1995-2002). He held positions at UB as the Head of Library Instruction for the Arts and Sciences Library, Coordinator of the Cybraries Teaching Center, and Reference/Instruction Librarian. He was also the Web Master of the Web site of UB's Undergraduate Library. He has a Masters in Library Studies, and a B.A. in history. His research interest include Africana Studies. In addition to this Acree serves as the Chair of the Multicultural Resource Center in Ithaca, New York.
