Alee
Alee is 12 years old, she is a seventh grader. She loves everything about 7th grade, except math and science and especially study hall and English. If she's not doing something with friends then she's usually either reading or writing. Some of her very favorite books are Absolutely Normal Chaos , The Dear One, and Bounce.
Anna
Anna is in 6th grade. She likes most of her classes but she doesn't like family consumer science and social studies. In her free time she likes hanging out with her friends, playing saxaphone, and of course, reading. Her favorite book series is the Twilight Saga series by Stephenie Meyer.
Georgie
Georgenia (pronounced: jorj-en-ee-a), Georgie for short, is twelve years of age. Her favorite books all have something to do with fantasy, historical fiction, or both. Other things she enjoys to do are swim, ride horse back, and play the tenor sax, & cello. Oh yah, something else she is forced to do is homework.

Aurora
She is a confirmed bookworm and spends much of her free time reading, writing, and drawing bizarre cartoons. Her favorite books include - but are certainly not limited to - Catcher in the Rye, The Bell Jar, The Tin Drum, and Naked Lunch. She is off to Bard College to study creative writing and theatre, but in the mean time she can easily be found lurking through the aisles of the public library, seeking out new and exciting things to read.
 Cady
Cady is a senior at Ithaca High School. In her free time she enjoys playing cello, acting, singing, and of course, reading. Her favorite genre is probably historical fiction, but she also enjoys somewhat fantastical novels and beach-worthy books. A few of her favorite books include Memoirs of a Geisha, Things Fall Apart, A Great and Terrible Beauty, Angels and Demons, and all the Harry Potter books.
 Charlotte
Charlotte is a senior at Ithaca High School. When she's not in school she enjoys being part of the Girls Varsity Tennis team, drawing, and playing bass. Her favorite books include those by David Sedaris, numerous girly books that will remain unnamed, and The Bean Trees.
 Ilona
Ilona is a senior at Ithaca High School who plays piano, fences, and does horse-back riding outside of school. She also enjoys volunteering at the library sorting movie and audio material (and being bemused by the popularity of Kronk’s New Groove and horrified by that of The Little Mermaid 2 CD) and reading books. Her favorites include almost anything by Orwell, books by Robin Hobb, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, and Calvin and Hobbes.
 Lauren
Lauren is a 17 year-old senior at Ithaca High, who enjoys the company of fellow library enthusiasts. When not physically the library, she spends her time fantasizing about sitting at its tables, volunteering at its return desk, staring at its painting of Ezra Cornell, and, naturally, reading its books. Some of her favorites include Survivor, Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close, Jane Eyre, most things written by Julio Cortázar, and several clever Hallmark cards.
Lily
My name is Lily. I'm a senior at Ithaca High school and I love to do anything creative and fun. My taste in reading is rather immature and I have an incurable addiction to romantic fiction. My favorite books include, but are not limited to Catcher in The Rye, This Lullaby, The Inn at Lake Devine, and Match Me if You Can.
