Spirit and Kitsch is a unique Finger Lakes gallery of functional, cool and funky art. The members of the gallery will join together to present raw color expressions creating something beautiful and surprising, along with works of art inspired by Joan Miro’s birthday.

The opening reception will take place in the Borg Warner Community Room on Thursday, April 19, from 5-7 pm. Meet the artists and learn about free classes to be taught by Ben Marlan in May.

SEEING COLOR - Free Classes taught by curator and Spirit and Kitsch artist Ben Marlan will be held at the Library on Saturday May 5th and Saturday May 12th 10:30 –12:30. Spirit and Kitsch is an approachable group and you might even have fun.

Classes are geared towards adults but children in 4th grade and older and accompanied by a parent are welcome.

It is recommended participants attend both classes but not necessary. To reserve a place in the class please contact Spirit and Kitsch at alice@spiritandkitsch.com or call 607-277-4914. The program is free and open to the public, but space is limited.
