Teen Summer Reading 2008
Whatever the title or the subject, there is always a transformation waiting to happen when you read!
Experience the metamorphosis by participating in the Tompkins County Public Library's 2008 Teen Summer Reading Program.
Teens that read and review two books between June 30 and August 11 will be entered into a raffle to win a Summer Fun Tote Bag containing Regal Cinema movie tickets, an Itunes gift card, and a Best Buy gift card. Other prizes being raffled off include a Zen Stone Plus 2GB MP3 player, gift cards and certificates to the Bookery and Purity Ice Cream. Small prizes are available for everyone who returns a book review form to the youth services reference desk.
The Teen Summer Reading Program is free and open to teens entering grades six through 12. Review sheets can be found at the library or online at http://www.tcpl.org/teen/summer/index.html. Participants must read and review at least two books to be entered in the raffles, however, each review serves as a raffle ticket, so each additional book read increases the odds of winning.
For more information, contact the youth services department at 607- 272-4557 extension 275.
The 2008 Teen Summer Reading Program is made possible by a gift from the Finger Lakes Library System and the Tompkins County Public Library Foundation through a gift from the Cornell Pan-Hellenic Association.
