Foundation Bookfair @ Barnes & Noble - Thursday, October 25th and Friday, October 26th

Support Tompkins County Public Library by shopping at Barnes & Noble in Ithaca on October 25 and 26 at a Bookfair hosted by Tompkins County Public Library Foundation.

On Thursday, October 25 and Friday, October 26 Barnes & Noble will donate a percentage of every sale made with a special Bookfair voucher (.pdf) to Tompkins County Public Library Foundation! Vouchers are available online at www.tcpl.org/foundation/bnbookfairvoucher2007.pdf, and in hard copy at Tompkins County Public Library, or will be available at the cashier’s desk.

Funds raised at the Bookfair will be used to support library programs and services. In addition a library wish list of titles needed in the collection will be on display. Bookfair supporters may purchase books from this list for donation to the library.

Two special events will take place during the Bookfair: Local Authors Appreciation Night at 7:00 pm on October 25th, when local writers including Rebecca Barry, Kathyn Howd Machan, Tina Howe, Gale Jarrow, Eric Kingson, Gemma Macera, Ellen Potter, Ronin Ro, Nick Sagan, Megan Shull, Brian Wansink, and Lee Wells, will be available to sign their books and meet the public, and Story Time for children at 10:30 am on October 26th.
