T.A.G. You’re it! TCPL’s Teen Advisory Group Seeking Members

Area teens interested in making the Tompkins County Public Library more teen friendly are being sought to join the Library’s Teen Advisory Group (T.A.G.).

T.A.G. is a highly-acclaimed group, which allows area youth from 12-17 to share their feedback, experiences and ideas about improving the Library’s teen services while meeting new people, participating in fun, monthly activities and reading and discussing books.

Teens interested in joining T.A.G. are invited to attend the group’s first meeting of the year, Tuesday, September 25, 2007 from 4:30 to 5:30 PM in the Thaler/Howell Room in the Library’s Youth Services department.

The meeting will include discussion, free refreshments, and participants can play Dance Dance Revolution and Guitar Hero.

For more information about the group and a complete list of meetings and activities please visit http://www.tcpl.org/teen/tag.html. Interested teens and new members are always welcome, but registration is appreciated. Visit www.tcpl.org/teen to sign-up online, visit the library, or call Adelle Leise @ 607-272-4557 ext 277.

Meetings and activities held in conjunction with the 2007-2008 Teen Advisory Group are made possible by the Tompkins County Public Library Foundation through a grant from the J.M. McDonald Foundation
