Library Staff Member, Terry Harbin, Receives Awards

Library staff, Terry Harbin received two 2002 Pegasys awards on February 16th. The award started at 8pm; it was cablecast Live and will re-broadcast on March 3rd at 9pm.

The Library program "Tompkins County Shines" won in the Magazine/Instructional category. The program also won as the best Educational/Governmental access program. This award makes the show eligible for the Hometown Video Festival in April.

The winning program featured the installation of the Library's solar panels and the dedication in June of 2001. The 32 minute film is available for check-out in the library's instructional video collection.
