The Discovery Trail Partnership, established in 1999, grew out of years of informal collaborations among museums and the public library in Tompkins County, NY to provide a structure for ongoing collaboration.
Finger Lakes Library System

Finger Lakes Library System (FLLS) is a cooperative library system, chartered in 1958 by New York State, to serve the public Libraries in Cayuga, Cortland, Seneca, Tioga, and Tompkins Counties.
Tompkins County Public Library is the Central Library for FLLS, which manages our Library's Polaris online catalog.

Twice a year, Spring and Fall, the Friends host a terrific booksale! Proceeds benefit the Tompkins County Public Library, the Finger Lakes Library System and other non-for-profits in Tompkins County that promote reading, literacy and libraries. Check out the Sale!
South Central Regional Library Council

The South Central Regional Library Council (SCRLC) is one of nine Reference and Research Library Resources Councils that make up the NY 3Rs Association, Inc. in New York State. Tompkins County Public Library is one of 75 members across 10,000 square miles in the counties of Allegany, Broome, Cayuga, Chemung, Chenango, Cortland, Delaware, Otsego, Schuyler, Seneca, Steuben, Tioga, Tompkins, and Yates served by SCRLC.
