Learn How to Search the World Wide Web
Discover the Power of the Internet

To help you discover the wealth of information services open to you on the Internet, the Tompkins County Public Library is offering individualized training sessions to teach you the skills required to search for information on the Internet. The instructor will review how to use Internet browsers, how to obtain and use an e-mail account and more.

Three Internet sessions are given on Tuesdays:

  • 1:00 p.m. to 1:40 p.m.
  • 1:40 p.m. to 2:20 p.m.
  • 2:20 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Training sessions are conducted by community volunteers and pre-registration is required. Please visit the reference desk or call 272-4556 to sign up for a training session.
