Displays planned for 2011
January - March: Information Bound and Sculpted - Artists' Books at Tompkins County Public Library
The exhibit includes small edition and one-of-a-kind artists’ books. |

April - May: Discovery Trail Exhibit
This exhibit showcases the Discovery Trail partners, including The History Center, The Cornell Plantations, The Cornell Lab of Ornithology, The Johnson Art Museum, The Sciencenter, Cayuga Nature Center and Museum of the Earth. |

June: Visual Culture at Ithaca High School
The exhibit Visual Culture at I.H.S. curated by ICSD Art Faculty and featuring the work of Ithaca High School Students during academic year 2010-11, opens at the Tompkins County Public Library on Tuesday May 31. |

July 5 - August: The Ithaca Doll Makers present Take a Look Inside a Book
This exhibit features pieces crafted during a year-long challenge to create figurative sculptures—art dolls---based on the artists’ interpretations of characters from children’s books, poems or nursery rhymes. Hedwig and Dobbie the House Elfe from “Harry Potter”, Old Mother Hubbard and Aladdin are among the enchanting fictional characters to be found on display at the Tompkins County Public Library through August 29. |

September - October: A Collection of Collections curated by Sally Grubb
Held in conjunction with the Community Read, this exhibit showcases some of the fascinating items that people are collecting in Tompkins County. A portion of the display is on display in the Avenue of the Friends, with the full display of items people sent in showcased on Flickr here. |

November - December: Elfriede Abbe Exhibit curated by Nancy E. Green
Exhibit features wood block prints, press books from Abbe's private press, wood sculpture and wood blocks. On display through December 31, 2011. |
