Library Celebrates 10 Years
at Green Street!
Calling All Creative Library Lovers!
Artists, architects, designers and creative people of all ages are invited to submit artwork for an exhibit to be held in conjunction with the Tompkins County Public Library's 10 year anniversary at the 101 East Green Street location. The exhibit will be on display in the library from November 5 through December 30 and feature the library's past, present and future.
Artists are asked to imagine the library of the future, c. 2060, and express this visualization with originality, whimsy and humor. Will the library be a physical place or entirely virtual? Will books - as we know them - still be available? How will children relate to the library of the future? Is storytime a thing of the past?
