The Tompkins County Public Library Foundation provides financial support and benefits to the Tompkins County Public Library, enhancing opportunities for the Library's continued growth and service to the entire community.

Donate Library Materials

Donations of new or gently used books and audio visual materials best benefit the Library when they are given directly to the Friends of the Tompkins County Public Library. Please check with the Friends of the Library for donation locations and hours.

Authors wishing to donate their published works to the Library's collection are welcome to bring copies of their books to the Reference Desk.

Please note that all such donations will be reviewed in accordance with the Library's Collection Management Plan. Upon review, items will be either added to the Library's collection or donated to the Friends of the Library Book Sale.
